I tried using paperless-ngx on my home Proxmox setup, but I noticed that some uploaded PDF/PNG documents were not saved because the system couldn’t process them. This seemed like strange behavior for a system designed to store documents. Have you noticed this issue?
I noticed this with the ingest folder, which is available over the network for Ethernet-connected printer-scanners, and where I throw my documents instead of the web interface. Files that are processed disappear from there and become available in the Paperless, but unprocessed files are untouched. However, this happened with actually unsupported formats, and PDF is supported by Paperless.
I tried paperless-ngx recently and it was great.
But I think we should consider that paperless-ngx is a service to store documents and some of them may be sensitive, so disk encryption would be very nice to have.
It looks like paperless-ngx
doesn’t have OpenID Connect support out of the box, so integration will require some additional tinkering with reverse-proxy.
